Many people are interested in learning more about Scuba, and we are constantly asked the questions of how to choose the right course and facility. There are many reasons, both personal and practical that affect this decision. First, this process is similar to that of choosing a new doctor. Few people shop by price only. Instead, there are other factors to consider, such as convenience, experience, a helpful and friendly staff and comfort with the ability for our loved ones and ourselves to be well taken care of.

Choosing a scuba facility and course involves many of these same issues. Our on-site heated pool is custom designed for scuba. We built a large pool with both a shallow and deep end, to integrate our students to water at depth. Our decision to offer a pool on-site and design it for scuba relates to our student's convenience. We did not want students new to diving being dragged to a different location each time pool training was needed. This is time consuming and cuts into the time spent in the pool having fun. Also, we found that five foot lap pools did not sufficiently allow students to interact in dive gear at depth. That aspect is very important to us, as lap pools cannot prepare a student for the actual ocean experience. But our pool can.

Our friendly staff is available at your convenience to sit down and answer all of your questions. No question is too small, and no concern too silly. Our staff were once new divers themselves, and can talk with you honestly about what to expect from your scuba experiences as a new student. Our facility is the only one in New Hampshire to offer a full selection of training agencies, allowing us to suit your individual training needs best. Those agencies include PADI, SDI, TDI, and SSI. We can help you make that decision based on your future diving goals, to make the decision to learn scuba a rewarding and fulfilling one.

It's not often mentioned, but learning to scuba dive puts us out of what is called our "comfort zone." The underwater environment is a foreign one, and involves our using life support equipment.
