In the past, we've stayed at the Blue Lagoon resort, this time we will stay and dive off the Odyssey because none of the resorts on Chuuk are accepting reservations. Time is running out since some of the wrecks are starting to show their age and we want to dive them at least once more before you can't go through them anymore. 2025 is the first year the Odyssey is accepting new bookings (took over Blue Lagoon and Truck Stop rescheduled trips as well as their own since covid).
This trip is great for Technical Divers as well as Experienced Divers

This trip, we stay, eat and dive off The Odyssey, a live aboard boat at Truk Lagoon.
Easy entry with fantastic diving! Eat - Sleep - Dive - Repeat.
GETTING TO TRUK -
We like to use one airline for travel, that way your luggage tag reads "TRK" and you don't have to worry about your luggage not arriving. Plus you will only have to pay baggage fees once (if there are any).
We select our flight based on lower intermediate stops along the way, making it a lot faster travel time!
RETURNING HOME -
The return airfare is as simplistic as getting to Truk. We will post all airfare information as soon as it's available.
The Odyssey features:
- Private en-suite head and showers in each cabin.
- Individual air conditiong controls in each room.
- Diver lift at the stern for easy exit out of the water.
Please refer to diagram below for ship layout.
Diving:
- 6 Days of diving with up to 5 dives/day.
- Fascinating wreck and night diving.
- 30% Nitrox fills are included for those certified.
- Personal dive locker for your equipment.
Technical Divers:
- Mixes up to 100% O2 for those certified.
- Use of doubles with isolation manafold (DIN/Yoke).
- Use of 30 cu.ft. pony bottles.
YOUR TRUK PACKAGE INCLUDES-
- 8 Day/7 Night stay on the Odyssey in with taxes and surcharges
- Round trip airport transfers
- 2 Days of 2-tank dives, giving you some time to explore this historical island's museums and trails
- 4 Days of 3-tank dives
- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner at Blue Lagoon Resort (Truk)
- Lunch/Dinner on day of arrival
- Breakfast/Lunch on day of departure
- Last day tour of Japanese Ruins, Sand Monuments and the staff will prepare a BBQ lunch on an uninhabited island in the lagoon. You are then welcome to snorkel or enjoy the beach on your last day!
NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE -
- Airfare (At this time, however, we will try for discounted air once the booking window opens (Mid April) and let you know).
- All personal expenses in transit (including meals).
- Chuuk dive permit (US $50)
- Gratuities
- Truk airport departure tax (about $40 cash /person)
- Mandatory Midical/Trip insurance through DAN. Can't express enough how important this is.

Per diver, double occupancy = $4580.
Airfare estimate ** $2500.+/-
TRIP TOTAL WITH EST. AIR $7080
Add $2000 for single occupancy.
** It IS possible airfare may change as airport fees change... I will keep you posted.
Space at this price is LIMITED FOR THIS TRIP -
A non-refundable, but transferrable $1200 CASH OR CHECK DEPOSIT secures your spot on this trip. You may use a credit card for payments, we'll just add 3% for the fees as we didn't incorporate those in the price (as most use cash/check).
Payments for this trip will look like this:
Deposit paid at booking $1200.
Mar 1, 2024 payment due $1500.
Sept 1, 2025 final payment due $1880.
Any payments on this trip are not refundable, but are transferrable to another diver who will fill your spot. This is where DAN insurance is needed.
